We can customize each treatment much more effectively with this system verses other lasers.

Laser hair removal is a safe and effective procedure.Once your skin has been assessed and tested to ensure the best results, the treatment will begin. The esthetician will program the laser to the exact settings for your specific skin type. Then, after applying the topical clear conducting gel, the laser headpiece is placed directly on the skin. Your esthetician will then proceed with treatment.When the light energy passes through the epidermis(outer skin layer) into the hair follicle and hair bulb, the sensation has been compared to a mild pinch, which goes away almost instantly.

Anagen phase-The hair is in an active growth cycle

Catagen phase- At the end of the anagen cycle, the follicle is entering its transitional stage. Typically lasting for 3 weeks. The dermal papilla detaches from below and the hair enters into the next stage.

Telogen phase- During this time the hair is in a dormant state. The hair is still in the skin but is not actively growing. After approximately 6 weeks the hair will shed itself and return to the anagen phase.

Laser hair removal works by targeting the melanin (pigment) in the hair itself. The light energy passes through the skin and is absorbed by the hair follicle. Only during the active growth phase is the hair follicle attached to the bulb. This is the key factor in hair removal that allows it to be so successful. Once the energy is absorbed by the hair follicle and bulb, that hair is permanently disabled.

Multiple sessions are typically recommended because at any given time, approximately 15%-20% of your hair is actually in the growing cycle. Each treatment should reduce your hair by that same amount. In some cases it may even be more. Your follow up treatments are timed in a way so that they coincide with the next active growth phase. Between 6-12 weeks apart depending on area.

 Cutera® LimeLight™ is at the cutting edge of non-invasive treatments. Wavelengths ranging from 520-1100nm is what makes this system so unique. The programmable features allow this system to shift the wavelength range in order to provide many different treatment capabilities.

This treatment is not limited to the face only Hands,neck, and chest are just some areas able to receive the benefits of this service. Rosecea, teangiectasia, solar lentigines, diffuse redness, and many more problematic skin blemishes can be treated with this procedure.

LASER GENESIS™1064nm Nd:YAG Laser

This procedure applies the same concept as the Photo Facial but with capabilities even beyond the Photo Facial service. Laser Genesis™ targets multiple layers of the dermis, which in turn, triggers more collagen production. Benefits include, diminished pore size, very noticeable improvements in the texture of your skin, and reduced wrinkles.

TITAN®  Infrared Light 1100-1800nm

By using a unique range in wavelengths, the Titan can produce Volumetric heating, 1-2mm deep. This targets the dermis layer in a way that stimulates a massive amount of collagen production. Most clients see and feel an improvement in their skin immediately after treatment. Maximum results take up to 2 weeks while the collagen is being produced. While having very minimal discomfort during treatment, this is a great alternative to surgery. Your appointment will typically last 30-45 minutes, depending on the area treated. Most common places are the face, neck, and stomach. Titan has been featured on many Hollywood celebrity shows as the newest way to obtain youthful, healthy skin.
